📌 Quando devi usare NE? (Sentences where you need NE)
1. Per esprimere una quantità (To Express Quantity)
Ne può sostituire un nome introdotto da un numero o una espressione di quantità. (Ne can replace a noun introduced by a number or expression of quantity.)
Quando vuoi parlare di quantità, in questo caso, ne è chiamato “partitivo” perché si riferisce a “parte” di una quantità di qualcosa. (When you want to talk about a quantity, in that case, we call it “partitivo” because it refers to a “part” or quantity of something.)
Examples:
✎ Vuole del pane? (Would you like some bread?)
Si, ne vorrei un chilo 💡 NE= quantità di pane (yes, I would like one kilo – of it)
✎ Oggi ho ricevuto molte telefonate: ne ho ricevute dieci. 💡 NE= quantità di telefonate (Today I have had a lot of phone calls I have had ten – of it)

3. Per sostituire i nomi e le frasi introdotte dalla preposizione DA – senza riferimento alla quantità (Replaces nouns and phrases introduced by the preposition DA – without reference to quantity)
Ne può sostituire da + sostantivo (un luogo o una cosa) quando significa “da lì”. (Ne may replace da + noun (a place or a thing) when it means “from there”.)
Examples:
✎ Vieni da Roma? Sì, ne torno adesso. 💡 NE = da Roma (Are you coming from Rome? Yes, I am returning now – from Rome).
✎ Ho letto il libro e ne sono rimasto impressionato 💡 NE = dal libro (I read the book and I was impressed – by it)

Quando ne viene usato con il prossimo prossimo, il participio passato concorda con il nome sostituito da ne solo quando questo nome è un oggetto diretto.(When ne is used with the passato prossimo, the past participle agrees with the noun replaced by ne only when this noun is a direct object.)
